Track, Trail & Tarmac

Whether you are running for fun, developing your fitness, or working for a specific training goal, our Track, Trail & Tarmac training will guide and support you to move better, run faster, run longer and run stronger.

Our Track, Trail & Tarmac training is practical in nature and focuses on developing your individual running technique.

Working with your natural running style our team will:

  • Put a spring in your stride to enable you to run with lightness and power.
  • Help you to develop your running skills.
  • Practice drills, cues and techniques to improve your form, efficiency and speed.
  • Work with the forces of nature: gravity and ground reaction forces.

Our Track, Trail & Tarmac training will give you the tools to improve your style, speed and efficiency.

Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about your training and to offer support, no matter what your running ability or if you are recovering from injury.

Each season there will be a programme designed to focus on relevant aspects of running, these running aspects will fit in seamlessly with your regular training programme.

Our bespoke Track, Trail & Tarmac training sessions have been designed with runners in mind by our team of sports specialists and incorporates:

  • Running specific training drills.
  • Precise targeted strength training.
  • Out of season training.
  • Injury prevention.
  • Rehabilitation.
  • Exercises to improve running style and performance.

Running specific movements included in the programme are designed to enhance strength and mobility. These movements will provide a firm foundation of suppleness, power and stamina.

Track, Trail & Tarmac is kept to a small number of participants; this ensures that participants get the most out of every session. As well as developing running skills as a group, you will be able to focus on areas unique to you and your needs so you improve in areas relevant to your own performance.

Track, Trail & Tarmac training is held at Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic, Saville Place, Newcastle City Centre on Monday Evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
