Maurice Bourke BSc (Hons), MSCP
Maurice is renowned in clinic for his classy yet controversial fashion sense with an equally quirky sense of humour.
Maurice graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2009 with a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy. He went on to specialise in the musculoskeletal field by completing an MSc Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal) degree at the University of Melbourne. Maurice has worked in the NHS treating clients in primary care and within a dedicated upper limb service for Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust. Maurice has a particular interest in tendons issues and shoulder physiology. If you have an unresolving shoulder or tendon issue there is no better person to come and see.
Outside of work, Maurice runs for a local harrier club and is a keen cyclist. He is currently training to run a half marathon, and is aiming to complete the coast to coast cycle.
