Hundreds of the UK’s best cyclists descended on the North East at the weekend to take part in the Cyclone Festival of Cycling – and physiotherapists from NSIC were on hand to help treat riders’ injuries.
Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic volunteered at the Cyclone events throughout Friday and Sunday – covering the Tyne 6 Bridges leisure ride, and then the altogether more competitive Curlew Cup and the Beaumont Trophy events.
We had a fantastic time, met some incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic cyclists and received some excellent feedback during our time there. We’ll be looking at cycling injuries soon on our blog so watch this space!
In the meantime, if the Cyclone Festival of cycling has inspired you to take up cycling, or to take your hobby to the next level, but you’re struggling with injuries, please give us a call and we can help get you back in the saddle.
